This is how the cabin looks in winter – beautiful isn’t it!
What a relaxing time we all had up in North Carolina! Trevor and Jessica’s cabin is so warm and welcoming. The hot tub in the below freezing temperatures was a huge plus for me who is not the cold lover at all!!! I had never been to the Boone, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock area of NC and fell in love with how charming and it is. I will share more photos later.
My sweet Veronica.
On our way up to the cabin we stopped for lunch. AJ was so excited to see the snow he had to put his feet in some.
Do you have any fond “snowy” memories or stories? Please share them!!
Mine is growing up in Southern Connecticut and getting the one or two “BIG” storms of the winter. Since we lived by the shore, we didn’t always get lucky with big snows. About a 1/2 mile from my house was Bailey Middle School and they had an amazing sledding hill. (At least it was amazing when you are a little kid!) All the neighborhood kids would pull their sleds up there and we’d sled until we were numb. Then we’d hit a house or two for some hot chocolate and cookies. Mine was always on the list and then if we got permission we’d go out and sled some more!
