My Happy Place It's interesting when you take a moment to reflect on your life and choices and see how the different paths you picked led you to where you are now. Then being able to decide what to do going forward. For me, I grew up with the deep desire to be an actress on Broadway and in the movies. I wanted to be like the stars of old who would sing and act and dance and of course looked glamorous even getting out of bed in the morning. For a time in my life I enjoyed being able to perform in the theatre and on film. I was able to model and feel glamorous too. Travel Bug Giverney - Monet's Home During this pandemic I have realized beyond a shadow of a doubt just how much I love to travel. There really was never a question about that. Being able to see other parts of the country and experience other cultures across the globe bring me such joy. I learn so much and realize how much we can learn from one another. This year was going to be an epic travel year. I was able to get my NYC trip in with a friend in February. It was a special five days, seeing friends, meeting new ones, going to the theatre on and off Broadway, catching an opera, hitting museums and eating amazing food. Pet Happy Photography Our fur-babies are members of the family — squirmy, energetic, over-eager members of the family that often can’t sit still and turn into a massive blur on camera. Pets make some of the most stunning family photos, but, even though they have wiggled their way into our hearts, they can be a challenge to photograph. When I photograph with a pet, I imagine I am a ninja! A little bit portrait, a little bit sports and a little bit rock at roll! (no seriously, a little bit child photography too. Let’s face it… family photo sessions can be challenging… for not only the family, but sometimes the photographer as well. These tips will help get the most out of your photography session! 1.  Clothing is important - let the photographer help! Advice for clients: Have your clothing chosen way in advance and make sure that your outfit choices are comfortable and attractive.  What do your dream family photos look like?  If they are soft and elegant?  Chose neutral colors with soft, flowing fabrics…. think creams, very soft pastels, oatmeals, light browns, tans, grays, and slate blues.  Want to showcase the fun and spunky side of your family?  Choose coordinating colors (but not matchy, matchy) ...
