Friday

Nita and I were up bright and early for a very busy day of sight seeing.  We started in her neighborhood of Montmartre, the home of Sacre Coeur, a beautiful church set high on a hill.  There is a sweet carousel at the base of the church and wonderful bargain shopping on the streets nearby.  This area is also one of Paris’ garment districts. We ate a sandwich as we walked and a yummy warm chocolate crepe!  Montmartre is also known for its it’s artist’s square and despite the frigid temperatures, there were brave souls showing and selling.

Our next adventure took us to Moulin Rouge and Pigalle (the sex district)  It reminded me of Times Square in the ’80″s!   We did not stay long and I would like to go back to shoot the front of the building at night before I go.
