More From Rome

Today we got a very early start to be the first in line to see the Sistine Chapel and the Vatacan Museum. I was albe to shoot in the museum but there are no photos allowed in the chapel. When I walked in, there were 3 people in the room, that is all. What a gift to be there almost alone, so quiet and the most amazing part happened shortly after I arrived. They turned the lights on inside the chapel, something that is almost never done with the general public. It took my breathe away. I stood there with tears flowing down my face. I wish this paragraph could do justice to the room, the feeling of awe and the magnificence of this truly amazing place.
